These terms govern your use of the Truck Mitra platform. By registering or using our services, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Our role

Truck Mitra operates a technology platform that connects transporters with truck owners and drivers. We facilitate discovery, booking, tracking and payment. Contracts of carriage are formed between the transporter and the truck owner; we are not a carrier and do not take custody of goods.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Verification

All users must complete KYC verification. We may suspend or terminate accounts where documents are found to be false, expired or fraudulent.

4. Bookings and pricing

Rates are agreed directly between the transporter and the owner through the bidding process. Any additional charges such as detention, loading or unloading must be agreed in advance and recorded on the trip.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through the platform wallet and released on OTP-confirmed delivery. Applicable taxes are charged as per prevailing law.

6. Responsibilities of users

Transporters must declare goods accurately and must not book prohibited or illegal items. Owners and drivers must hold valid permits, insurance and licences, and must transport goods safely and lawfully.

7. Cancellations

Cancellation terms depend on when a booking is cancelled relative to the scheduled pickup. Repeated cancellations may affect your rating or account standing.

8. Liability

Liability for loss or damage to goods lies with the carrier as per applicable transport law and any insurance in place. The platform's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

9. Prohibited use

You may not use the platform to transport illegal goods, circumvent the platform for payments arranged through it, misuse another user's data, or interfere with the operation of our systems.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts specified in your service agreement.
