Account information — name, mobile number, email, business details and address.
Verification documents — Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, RC, insurance and permits, as required for KYC.
Trip and location data — pickup and drop points, route, and GPS location during active trips.
Transaction data — bids, agreed rates, wallet transactions and invoices.
Device and usage data — app version, device type and basic usage logs used to improve reliability.
GPS location is collected during active trips to provide tracking to the transporter whose goods are being carried. Drivers can see when tracking is active. We do not sell location data.
We share only what is necessary — for example, contact details between the two parties of a confirmed trip, and data shared with payment processors, KYC verification providers and cloud hosting partners who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where required by law.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secured infrastructure with access limited to authorised personnel.
We retain information for as long as your account is active and thereafter only as required for legal, tax and dispute-resolution purposes.
You can access and correct your information from your account, request a copy of your data, or request deletion subject to legal retention requirements. Write to privacy@truckmitra.com.
