This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and adjustments are handled for bookings made through Truck Mitra.
Before a bid is accepted — you can withdraw a load at any time at no charge.
After booking confirmation, before the truck departs for pickup — cancellation is generally free or subject to a nominal fee.
After the truck has departed for pickup — a cancellation charge may apply to compensate the owner for the distance already covered.
After loading has begun — cancellation charges are higher and are assessed case by case.
If the truck fails to arrive or the owner cancels after confirmation, any advance held is returned to the transporter in full, and the cancellation is recorded against the owner's rating.
Approved refunds are credited to your platform wallet, usually within 24 to 48 hours of approval. From the wallet you may either use the balance for future bookings or withdraw it to your registered bank account.
Withdrawals from wallet to bank typically settle within 3 to 5 working days, depending on your bank and the payment network.
Where there is a dispute — damage, shortage, detention or a rate disagreement — the amount in question may be held until our support team completes its review. We aim to close disputes within 7 working days of receiving the required documents.
Toll, fuel surcharge and other third-party costs already incurred on a trip are not refundable. Statutory taxes already remitted are refunded only where permitted by law.
